Gift Giving is Tangible Marketing

  • Dec 2, 2019

Happy Thanksgiving Week!  I am thankful that a few years ago, a very wise and dear friend of mine introduced me to a book called “The 5 Love Languages”, by Gary Chapman.  The premise of the book is that people give and receive love in different “languages” and if you want to connect at a deeper level with that person, then you need to consistently commit to understand and speak their primary languages.

So I imagine you are thinking, ‘what does “The 5 Love Languages” have to do with Tangible Marketing’?  Well, it has a lot to do with it…let me explain…

One of the 5 Love Languages is Gift Giving.  For those people that have this as a primary language, gift giving and receiving is the main way that they show love and feel appreciated.  Tangible Marketing is anything that you can send, wear, or touch to start a conversation, promote your brand, recognize your associate, or thank your customer.

Think about it…when you give your team a nice fleece jacket at the company Holiday party or when you thank your client with a high quality journal book; you are giving them a gift to show this person that you care about him or her.

And everyone that has struggled to find the right gift for the right person or event knows that the idea and research process can take a lot of time.  This is where Echo Strategic Marketing helps.  We take the time consuming, hard work out of finding that special gift, by acting as your single source for any apparel or merchandise you want to brand and send.

Tangible Marketing is an excellent way of cutting through the digital clutter and its power is multiplied when your audience has Gift Giving as one of their primary languages.

To connect with your audience through Gift Giving and Tangible Marketing, please give us a call or send us an email.
